La Puntilla Beach is at the end of the Costa del Sol boulevard, where La Paz, Usulután, and San Vicente converge. Departments of El Salvador with a great variety of tourist attractions.

Now, if you prefer boat rides, you can choose between visiting the islands of Montecristo and Tasajero, or touring the Jaltepeque estuary to see its impressive mangrove swamp. You can get places to stay on the islands during your vacation at an excellent price.
Surf and weather at La Puntilla beach
The waves in La Puntilla are incredibly calm, perfect for sitting on the shore to sunbathe and enjoy its pools in summer. Its climate tends to vary in temperature according to the year’s season.
It has an average annual temperature between 31°C and 34°C during the day and between 22°C and 24°C at night. Therefore, the best months of the year to visit and enjoy this wonderful beach are February, March, and April.
During these months, there is sporadic rainfall, so you can easily observe the pools, and of course, it is the best time to enjoy them.

As we have already mentioned, La Puntilla beach is public, so there are few limitations to the full enjoyment of the place. So you can choose to bring your food or take the opportunity to try the most exquisite dishes of the region.
You can enjoy from the most traditional Salvadoran dishes to those made with fresh seafood prepared in the beach’s eateries and restaurants.
