The Banderas, located in the east, and the Ocotal in the west, are the highest and oldest. Flickr.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>It is interesting that, despite the debate about the origin of its name, among the locals of <strong>Conchagua<\/strong>, it is called &#8220;hill&#8221; because, for them, it seems more like a <strong>geographical elevation in the coastal<\/strong> relief than it is a volcano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"clima-flora-y-fauna-en-el-volcan-de-conchagua\">Climate, Flora and Fauna in the Conchagua Volcano<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <strong>Conchagua volcano<\/strong> and the immediate region, the climate is warm, with slight drops in barely cool temperatures. Photo by ElSalvadorViajar.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The <strong>hot season<\/strong> runs from the third week of <strong>February to the first days of May<\/strong>, with temperatures of up to 33\u00b0 C, with April being the hottest month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incredible season begins in the <strong>second week of September <\/strong>and lasts until the first week of November, with an average temperature of 31\u00b0C. September is the coldest month of the year, with temperatures of up to 24\u00b0C. This has favored the flora in the foothills of the mountain range to flourish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also favored the <strong>abundance of flora<\/strong> on the slopes of <strong>the volcano<\/strong>. Including conifer and pine forests that have developed, of course, are protected by the park authorities, although you can walk through them. This rodent only inhabits <strong>Central and South America<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"actividades-que-podemos-realizar\">Activities we can perform<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The journey to any of the <strong>tips of the Conchagua volcano<\/strong> offers many opportunities to admire nature or hike in certain sections. An entity that protects the surroundings; to enter the first area intended for camping, guards must open a gate.
