History and Characteristics of Tamanique<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The date of birth of this Central American<\/strong> destination takes us back to pre-Hispanic times when its first settlers were Pipil and Mayan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its current name in the Nahuat language has two meanings: on the one hand, some said to mean “with its earthen pool,”<\/em><\/strong> and others say it is “captured hill.”<\/p>\n\n\n
