Wikimedia Commons.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Continuing towards the city&#8217;s downtown area, you will find one of the <strong>treasures of Ilobasco<\/strong>: the <strong>San Miguel Arc\u00e1ngel Church<\/strong>, the patron saint of the town, built in the 19th century, which has a beautiful cross-shaped vault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the upper part of the city is the old <strong>Church of the Virgen de Los Desamparados<\/strong>, whose main altar has an original altarpiece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Strolling through the <strong>streets of Ilobasco<\/strong> is very entertaining because of the number of small shops that you will find on your way with diverse and beautiful handicrafts.
